Pakistan’s Foreign Secretary Aizaz Chaudhry said Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif presented the country’s definitive viewpoint in the United Nations in full, adding Pakistan will continue its undeterred support for the political resolution of Kashmir issue.

Pakistan seeks relations with the neighboring India on the basis of equality, Chaudhry said while giving media briefing over PM Sharif’s US visit and his address to the UN’s General Assembly.

The foreign secretary also maintained the country initiated Operation Zarb-e-Azb on its own accord, not at anybody’s behest.

Pakistan will continue its efforts for “world peace”, he remarked.
