To address investor concerns, both sides decided to organise a dedicated business conference. The initiative will focus on resolving security challenges faced by Chinese companies operating in Pakistan.
In its first phase, authorities will engage with existing Chinese businesses. Later, outreach will expand to attract new investors. This move highlights Pakistan’s commitment to improving the investment climate.
Mohsin Naqvi announced the establishment of a Special Protection Unit to ensure the safety of foreign nationals, especially Chinese citizens, in Islamabad.
