Today, Pakistan celebrates Eidul Adha with significant religious zeal, honouring the historic sacrifices of Hazrat Ibrahim (AS) and Hazrat Ismael (AS).
The day started with special prayers in mosques across the country, with a collective focus on the well-being of the Ummah and the prosperity, security, and progress.
Eid prayers took place at numerous mosques, Eidgahs, and various open areas in cities, towns, and villages, drawing large gatherings.
In their sermons, religious scholars highlighted the profound philosophical significance of the sacrifices Hazrat Ibrahim and Hazrat Ismael (AS) made, reflecting on the lessons these hold for the faithful.
In keeping with tradition, many individuals participated in the ritual of animal sacrifice, following the Sunnah of Hazrat Ibrahim (AS).
To support these celebrations, municipal authorities in cities and towns have implemented special measures to efficiently dispose of offal and other solid waste during the three days of Eidul Adha, ensuring cleanliness and order during the festivities.
