Ijaz Khan dominated the masters category, surpassing athletes from Vietnam, China, Malaysia, India, and Mongolia. His disciplined performance secured Pakistan’s second gold, reinforcing the country’s growing presence in bodybuilding. The Pakistan Bodybuilding Federation (PBBF) reported a 20% increase in national participation since 2023.
PBBF Secretary General Sohail Anwar commended the duo, stating, “Firasat and Ejaz have raised Pakistan’s flag high, demonstrating the global potential of our athletes.” The championship, which featured 400 athletes from 20 countries, highlights Pakistan’s growing sports profile, supported by government initiatives and a $10 million sports budget.
