Trade activities between Pakistan and India through Wagah border have been suspended for three days following Sunday’s suicide blast that killed at least 59 people at the main border crossing.
Reports said paramilitary Rangers stopped at check-points several trucks carrying goods for India and also did not allow the vehicles from Indian side to enter Pakistani premises.
Security forces conducted a search operation today in areas along the border and arrested at least 12 suspects.
Punjab Rangers would hold parade at the Wagah border with simplicity for the next three days to show solidarity with the dead and injured of the suicide attack.
