Alongside the digital update, NADRA reiterated its commitment to providing accessible services for persons with disabilities across all its offices in Pakistan. The authority stated its dedication to ensuring that no individual is deprived of identity documentation, regardless of the type of disability.
Key facilities for persons with disabilities include executive-category processing without queues, wheelchair availability at offices, and priority services via special tokens. Appointment booking is available via a dedicated helpline or mobile app. A cornerstone of this initiative is the issuance of a special identification card for persons with disabilities. This card is issued free of charge for the first time. It is valid for life and features a distinctive mark. To date, NADRA has issued over 1 million of these specially marked ID cards.
