MQM Chief, Altaf Hussain while expressing his views over the prevailing scenario of the country on a local TV Channel on Tuesday night, demanded that the army take over the government, if the PML (N) government did not render support for elimination of terrorism in Pakistan.
He further said “Pakistan is more important than democracy for us and we cannot jeopardize our country in name of democracy”
He exhorted the army chief as well as the prime minister of the country to come together on the same page for tackling the menace of terrorism. He stated” if the elected regime does not join hands with the army for getting rid of the terrorists then I would suggest the military to step forward on its own”
