At least one child killed and nine people, including six women and a child were injured in a blast near Islamic Research Centre at Ayesha Manzil, on Tuesday night.
According to police sources, assailants on a motorcycle lobbed a cracker from the Ayesha Manzil flyover on participants who came to attend a majlis at the Imambargah, killing one baby girl and injuring nine people.
The injured were immediately moved to the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital.
Police officials and experts from the bomb disposal squad also reached the site and collecting the evidence.
