There are good burgers and then there are great burgers. There is one for every one. However, burgers being a uniquely personal experience its difficult to decide which one is good and which one deserves the sobriquet “Great”. IMHO the aptly named, Oh My Grill definitely comes in the “great” category.
Tucked away on Karachi’s Sehar Commercial Ave. in DHA Phase 7, Its definitely not easy to find, for the directionally challenged. I was lucky enough to have an OMG devotee accompanying me otherwise I might have had a hungry evening. However, the rush of people patiently waiting their turn at the tiny outlet makes it pretty much unmissable.
Somehow the outlet’s tiny 2 table seating arrangement goes hand in hand with the casual décor.
Watching the enterprising entrepreneurs diligently grilling the burger patties as par your requirements, right in front of you was a neat touch.
The menu itself consists of five different types of burgers
Since your typical OMG burger is huge I could only try out one: “The Gourmet Classic with aged cheese”. I had the beef well done. And well done it was.. to perfection. Lightly crisped on the outside and thick and juicy on the inside. With a succulent, tangy aftertaste that hit the tastes buds just right. Also its large size should cater to just about even the most outrageous of appetites.
My friend, on the other hand had the “Swiss Mushroom Melt” that she positively swears by.
All in all I can say with reasonable confidence, that for the true burger aficionado, OMG is definitely a “Must Try”
