As 2024 concludes, people are again delving into Nostradamus’ predictions for 2025, driven by curiosity and apprehension. Born Michel de Nostredame, the 16th-century French astrologer, is renowned for his book “Les Propheties” (The Prophecies), which includes 942 quatrains that many believe predict significant global events.

Historically linked to predicting Adolf Hitler’s rise, the September 11 attacks, and the COVID-19 pandemic, Nostradamus continues to fascinate.

Researchers analyzing his work suggest that 2025 might bring severe events, including a possible asteroid collision and a plague-like outbreak in the UK. Despite often missing the mark, Nostradamus’ predictions captivate those who read them.

List of Nostradamus’ Predictions for 2025

Potential End to the Russia-Ukraine Conflict

Nostradamus hinted at the end of a long-standing war by 2025, possibly referring to the Russia-Ukraine conflict, suggesting exhaustion might lead both sides to cease fighting. He cryptically noted, “Through long war, all the army exhausted, so that they do not find money for the soldiers; instead of gold or silver, they will come to coin leather, Gallic brass, and the crescent sign of the Moon.” This has led some to speculate on the involvement of France and Turkey.

Dire Predictions for England

For England, 2025 may be challenging with “cruel wars” and a severe “ancient plague” outbreak, a prediction taken seriously given his track record with the COVID-19 pandemic.

Asteroid Threats

Nostradamus also warned of an asteroid that might collide with Earth or come dangerously close. While such events are not uncommon—many asteroids pass by safely each year—the possibility remains a topic of concern.

Natural Disasters in Brazil

He also foresaw natural disasters for Brazil, describing it as the “Garden of the World” potentially facing floods and volcanic activities due to climate change: “Garden of the world near the new city, In the path of the hollow mountains: It will be seized and plunged into the Tub, Forced to drink waters poisoned by sulfur.”

Personal Tribulations

Nostradamus’ grim outlook may stem from his tragedies, including the loss of his wife and children to presumed plague. This personal grief likely influenced his dark prophecies about humanity’s future.
