No ban on pushups, Sethi urges media not to politicise cricket team

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chief Executive Najam Sethi advised media not to ‘politicize the team’ on pushup issue.

Following the media reports on ban of performing celebratory push ups, Sethi on Twitter rejected such news and commented that there is no ban on players doing push up, whereas he would like player to do 100 pushups after each century. He further commented

Earlier today, the matter unexpectedly came under discussion in Senate Standing Committee where lawmakers showed their concern on performing celebratory push up by the Pakistani cricket player.

Chairman PCB Executive Committee, Najam Sethi appeared before the NA Standing Committee on Inter-Provincial Coordination and assured the members that this only happened during the England tour and the players will not repeat it.
