Pakistan Army killed Nine terrorists in an aerial and ground operation operations  in Khyber Agency.

According to ISPR, Pakistan Army carried out operation in Rajgal area, killing nine militants and destroyed six hideouts along with ammunition and weapons.

The area borders Afghanistan.

Last week, Pakistan’s military killed at least 11 militants in air strikes in the same region as part of an ongoing offensive in Khyber district.

The army offensive is underway in the mountainous terrain of Babar Kachkol, Naray Nao and Tor Sapar areas of Khyber.

Khyber is one of the seven semi-autonomous tribal districts where the military has been fighting Taliban and Al-Qaeda linked militants for over a decade.

The army launched the “Zarb-e-Azb” operation in June 2014 in a bid to wipe out militant bases in North Waziristan tribal area. (PhotoNews/AFP)
