Eleven people were martyred and around 30 injured in a terrorists attack at the Directorate of Agriculture, Peshawar early Friday morning.
According to the Hayatabad Medical Complex spokesperson, six bodies have been received, while Khyber Teaching Hospital has confirmed the demise of three.
Early on Friday morning, the militants clad in burqas stormed into Peshawar’s Agricultural Training Institute.
The security forces later managed to kill all the terrorists after a gunfight which lasted over an hour.
Major General Asif Ghafoor praised the police performance during the operation. Speaking to a private news channel, Maj Gen Ghafoor said the terrorists were in contact with their partners in Afghanistan throughout the attack.
DG ISPR also confirmed that the operation has been completed and all militants have been neutralised.
The Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan has claimed responsibility for the attack.
