“Afghan Border Police has been creating hurdles in conduct of census in villages of Killi Luqman and Killi Jehangir in Chaman area on Pakistani side of the border since 30th April.” Statement read
“This was done despite the fact that Afghan authorities had been informed well in advance and coordination was carried out through diplomatic and military channels for conduct of census.” statement said
The attack occurred in the Killi Luqman and Killi Jahangir villages of Chaman.
Kabul contradictory claimed the villages are part of the war-torn country’s Spin Boldak district, an assertion Pakistan flatly denies.
