On Wednesday, a court in Lahore issued non-bailable arrest warrants for actress Nazish Jahangir. She is wanted in connection with a fraud case involving Rs 2.5 million.
The Cantt Kutchery Court has scheduled her court date for March 22, and the arrest order adds to the unfolding drama of the case.
Actor Aswad Haroon has brought attention to a situation involving Jahangir, who allegedly borrowed Rs 2.5 million and a car from him. The agreement was supposed to last two months, but Jahangir failed to repay the loan.

In 2024, Haroon filed a case under Section 420, which pertains to cheating. He seeks to recover both his money and the car. The court has agreed to intervene in the matter.
Haroon’s story takes a more dramatic turn. He claims that Jahangir arranged a meeting at a farmhouse, but she never showed up. Instead, a man named Sikandar Khan appeared. According to Haroon, Khan brandished weapons and warned him, “Stop contacting her, or die.” The police recorded this incident at the Defence C station.
Jahangir pushed back against the accusations. In September 2024, she applied for pre-arrest bail, arguing in her plea, “It’s a setup to harass me.” However, the court denied her request. In October, she turned to the Lahore High Court for assistance, seeking to have the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) intervene to stop online attacks against her. This case is still pending.
