The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan yesterday called on Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to resign and pave the way for fresh polls, telling him the time of his monarchy was over.
Imran addressed a media conference at a local hotel in Islamabad and he stated that he wanted to tell the Sharif family that the days of their monarchy were numbered. Central party leaders, including Makhdoom Javed Hashmi and other key leaders of the party also present on the occasion.
The PTI chief categorically ruled out the possibility of talks with the PML-N government and said that the ‘Azadi March’ would be held at all costs. “But there is one thing left that Nawaz Sharif should resign and hold polls afresh,” he asserted.
