A National Accountability Bureau (NAB) team raided the Bahria Town headquarters in Islamabad to secure land documents related to Al-Qadir University.
The raid involved NAB personnel currently stationed at the corporate office of Bahria Town. Sources familiar with the situation revealed that the anti-corruption agency is meticulously searching various sections of the Bahria Town headquarters.
The NAB team’s focus includes the offices of Bahria Town’s owner, Malik Riaz, and other senior officials. During the operation, the team seized records at the Bahria Town head office.
Units from the Islamabad and Punjab police forces and elite force members support the NAB team in this operation. To ensure the operation’s security, the roads leading to the Bahria Town Head Office were cordoned off, and police personnel were deployed around the area.
