In Lahore, biggest Eid -Namaz (prayers) will be held at Badshahi Mosque while in Rawalpindi, main Eid -Namaz (prayers) will be held at Liaqat Bagh.

In Islamabad‚ the main Eid -Namaz (prayers) will be held at the Faisal Mosque while in Karachi‚ large Eid -Namaz (prayers) will be held at Gulshan-e-Jinnah‚ Nishtar Park‚ National Stadium and Eidgah Nazimabad.

After offering Eid prayers, Muslims slaughtered animals in the name of Allah following the Sunnah of Hazrat Ibrahim (AS).

Eid al-Azha, or Feast of Sacrifice, immortalizes Prophet Hazrat Ibrahim’s (AS) unflinchingly submitting to Allah’s will by showing his readiness to sacrifice his son Prophet Hazrat Ismail (AS).

Muslims across the world sacrifice a animals (Cow. Goat etc) on this day as a “reminder of Hazrat Ibrahim’s (AS) unquestioning obedience to Allah.
