Pakistani fast bowler Naseem Shah recently underwent a successful shoulder operation in London after sustaining an injury during the Asia Cup match against India.

Doctors revealed that the surgery lasted about 30 minutes and advised Naseem to rest for the next four to six weeks. After this recuperation period, he will be able to resume practice.

The injury had led to Naseem’s exclusion from the ICC Men’s World Cup squad, a development that deeply saddened him. He expressed his disappointment on social media, saying, “With a heavy heart, I’m sharing that I will not be part of this amazing team representing our beloved country.” However, he remains hopeful, adding, “While I’m disappointed, I believe everything is in Allah’s hands. InshahAllah will be on the field very soon.”
