Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s (MQM) Rabita Committee earlier today appealed to the people of Karachi not to give any donation in the name of party as it has banned all types of donations.
In a statement, the Rabita Committee said that those who collect donation do not belong to MQM hence the people are requested not to donate money to such people.
“Some organized groups collect donations in the name of MQM but the party has no link with them”, it said.
The committee also urged the general public to inform the party about anyone who asks for a donation on its behalf.
