NADRA has also launched the ‘Pak ID Mobile App.’ This app brings identity services directly to citizens’ mobile devices, allowing them to apply for identity cards and documents without physically visiting NADRA offices. Using the app, citizens can complete the application process and arrange to deliver their ID documents to their doorstep, as detailed in a recent press release.
The ‘Pak ID Mobile App’ is a major step in simplifying the application process for critical documents such as CNIC and Family Registration Certificates. By eliminating the need to visit NADRA offices, the app helps citizens avoid long queues and waiting times.
The latest version of the app features a built-in document recognition system and contactless biometric verification, offering a comprehensive range of ID issuance services. These services include uploading and submitting documents, capturing photographs and fingerprints, and adding digital signatures, all conveniently accessible via smartphones.
