The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) is introducing the “NADRA Biker Service” in Karachi and various locations across Sindh, allowing residents to apply for Computerised National Identity Cards (CNICs) from the comfort of their homes.
This innovative service allows citizens to request new CNICs, renew existing ones, and make necessary modifications without visiting a NADRA office. Additionally, parents can use this service to obtain B-forms for their children. Initially introduced in Punjab, the service now extends to Sindh, with operations set to start in Karachi, Hyderabad, and Mirpurkhas. Karachi will have three motorcycles dedicated to this service, while Hyderabad and Mirpurkhas will have one.
CNIC Applications with NADRA Biker Service
To access the NADRA Biker Service, citizens must pay an extra Rs. 1,000 in addition to standard CNIC issuance or renewal fees. This service will commence in Karachi on January 20. Once processed, the CNICs or B-forms will be delivered directly to applicants’ homes, eliminating the need to visit NADRA offices.

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi recently announced that NADRA would also launch a new mobile app following the permanent shutdown of the Pak ID web portal. This move aims to provide more secure and efficient services, especially for Pakistanis abroad who have faced challenges using the website to upload fingerprints and documents.
Minister Naqvi also noted ongoing concerns about creating fake identity documents through counterfeit websites, emphasizing efforts to combat the misuse of personal information and enhance user security.
