NADRA has issued an update on NADRA Eid holidays for overseas Pakistanis, informing citizens abroad that its international offices and counters will remain closed during Eidul Fitr. However, overseas Pakistanis can still apply for or renew key identity documents online through the Pak-ID mobile app.
The authority said holiday closures at overseas counters will follow the schedules announced separately by Pakistani embassies and consulates in each country. As a result, citizens have been advised to check the websites or social media pages of their respective missions before planning a visit.
According to the update, NADRA’s overseas offices and counters will be suspending in-person services during the Eid al-Fitr holidays. The exact closure dates may vary by country, as they depend on the local schedules issued by individual Pakistani missions abroad.

That means applicants should not assume one universal timetable for all countries. Instead, NADRA is directing overseas Pakistanis to confirm local holiday details through their embassy or consulate channels.
Even during the holiday closure, NADRA says digital services will continue. Overseas Pakistanis can use the Pak-ID mobile app to apply for or renew documents, including NICOP and POC, without visiting a counter in person.
This option is especially important for citizens who need to avoid service delays during the holiday period. It also allows users to complete document-related steps from home while offices remain shut.
