Pervez’s lawyers decide to knock on the Court’s door to enable him to visit critically ill mother
Pervez Musharraf’s lawyers have decided to move court to get the ex military strongman Gen (Retd) Pervez Musharraf to visit his seriously ill mother, who remains critical in a UAE hospital.
“We are ready to challenge the interior ministry’s order that bars Musharraf from travelling abroad. What remains to be decided is whether we go to the supreme or the high court”, said Ahmed Raza Kasuri.
Kasuri told media that the legal team had taken a decision to this effect after holding a meeting with the former president at his Chak Shehzad farmhouse.
To a question, he said that the interior ministry’s order that places Musharraf’s name on Exit Control List (ECL) held no legal grounds.
