Murree, a popular tourist destination, is preparing for Eid ul Fitr crowds with a new traffic management plan from the City Traffic Police.

The traffic plan announced on March 30, 2025, aims to ensure the smooth movement of visitors during the holiday rush. Over 200 traffic wardens will assist and guide tourists throughout the hill station.

Key updates include one-way traffic on five major roads: Viewforth Road, Bank Road, Hall Road, Kuldana Road, and Ridge Bell Road. Meanwhile, Mall Road will be fully closed to vehicles, easing pedestrian flow. To tackle congestion, authorities have split Murree into five sectors, each designed for better traffic control and coordination.

With its scenic charm, Murree draws thousands during Eid ul Fitr. This detailed plan reflects the police’s commitment to safety and convenience. By streamlining traffic and boosting warden presence, officials hope to cut delays and enhance the holiday experience for all visitors..
