A three member committee to probe into the Multan stampede tragedy visited the crime scene on Saturday.
The committee comprising of Secretary for Environment Iqbal Muhammad Chauhan, DIG Telecommunication Amir Malik and Deputy Secretary Shoaib Akbar also recorded the statements of eyewitnesses.
The residents of Multan took to street against the committee and chanted “Go Nawaz Go” slogans
According to sources, keeping in the views of the critical situation the probe committee did not even record the statements of the eyewitnesses.
