On April 21, 2025, Pakistani TikToker Mr. Pattlo was reportedly detained at Dubai International Airport during a layover while travelling to a digital influencers’ event in Doha, Qatar.

The news, first shared by fellow influencer Rajab Butt, has sparked widespread online discussion, though UAE authorities and Mr. Pattlo’s legal team have not issued official statements.

Unconfirmed reports suggest that the arrest may be connected to AI-generated videos allegedly created by Mr. Pattlo’s fans, which targeted the family of a Dubai-based female content creator. These videos circulated on social media and WhatsApp, possibly leading to a complaint that prompted swift action by UAE authorities. However, no evidence supports these claims, and the narrative remains speculative.

Rajab Butt, who invited Mr. Pattlo to the Doha event hosted by the Mate app, expressed regret: “I convinced him to come, but he was detained before reaching Qatar.” Butt condemned the misuse of AI, stating, “You made videos involving someone’s family, and now Patlo is paying the price.” He remains hopeful, saying, “InshaAllah, he’ll be released soon.”

With no official confirmation, the situation underscores the risks of digital misinformation. Readers should approach claims cautiously until verified.
