Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Farooq Sattar today warned against the possibility of ethnic riots in Karachi over acute shortage of water.
He alleged that Managing Director of Water Board was working on a political agenda. The PPP government, he continued, was using Water Board for political agenda.
Addressing a press conference at Nine Zero, Sattar said MQM will stand by people who decide to stage a sit-in for supply of water. “So far we had stopped the people of Karachi from staging sit-ins.”
“I am afraid water issue can trigger ethnic riots in the city,” he quipped.
