The Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) will hold nationwide protest against the enforced disappearances of its workers, which it has alleged are being taken away by plainclothesmen.

“We know it for a fact that law enforcement officers in civvies are booking our activists, whose tortured dead bodies are later found in Karachi and interior Sindh, which is intolerable”, MQM leader Hyder Abbas Rizvi said addressing a press conference here.

The MQM leader said that his party would not take it anymore as enough was enough.

“We have decided to raise a voice of protest against these extrajudicial arrests and subsequent ‘custodial deaths’ in Karachi on Thursday and across the country Friday”, said Rizvi.
