Karcahi: Qumi Movement’s (MQM) supporters Thursday stormed a Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf election camp in Karimabad, burnt the party flags, banners.

After getting unofficial results in NA 246, MQM workers took to streets in Azizabad celebrating the likely win of their candidate in NA 246 (Karachi III). It went out of control at Karimabad as the MQM workers faced off with the PTI workers outside their camp.

While talking to media PTI’s NA 246 candidate, Imran Ismail said “A large number of hostile MQM workers stormed out camp in Karimabad. The hooligans torn down our flags, banners, and hoardings. They also set our electioneering material on fire. Scores of our workers were injured as they were pelted with stones. Now at least 40 of the PTI workers are besieged in the building,”

The MQM supporters so violent that even the MQM leaders failed to disperse the violent vandals.
