Talking to a joint-session of MQM Coordination Committee Pakistan and London, MQM chief advised the party workers to provide medical assistance to the victims immediately and establish “Heatstroke Centers” all over the city.

He also said that KKF and Medical Aid Committee should support all the operations on the field and provide not only medical assistance but also mineral water and ORS for intense remedy to the heat victims.

Hussain urged to provide as much as relief to the people being suffered in water shortage and unannounced loadshedding during such an intolerable weather. He specially advised MQM Parliamentarians to go to their constituencies and try to resolve people’s issues.

Meanwhile, the Coordination Committee immediately set up the first “Heatstroke Center” to provide relief to the heat victims. The “Heatstroke Center” was set up at Taj Mehal Banquette near 4K Chowrangi and would serve patients of North Karachi and Surjani areas.
