Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) has sacked party leader Mohammad Anwar from party’s Rabitta Committee (Coordination Committee) due to long illness and absenteeism.
In a statement today, MQM Rabitta Committee has said that party has been facing tough time because of direct political vengeance at the hands of the establishment and under such condition cannot bear absence of senior party members.
It has stated that Mohammad Anwar often remain absent in the meetings because of his appointments with doctors.
The party has advised members to avoid contacts with Mohammad Anwar on organizational matters as he is no more a member of the Rabita Committee.
MQM Chief Altaf Hussain has also endorsed the decision of party’s coordination committee.
