Chief of Muttaheda Qaumi Movement (MQM ) Pakistan, Dr Farooq Sattar has been arrested on Friday night and was shifted to Chakiwara Police Station.
According to local news channel ‘GEO News’, Dr. Farooq Sattar was arrested when he returning after attending a wedding ceremony at PAF Museum.
Sources said Sattar was taken into custody in a case pertaining to August 22 anti-Pakistan speech by MQM founder.
Meanwhile, the Police has confirmed his arrest.
This has also been reported that a heavy contingent of the Police has reached the temporary headquarter of the MQM (Pakistan) at PIB colony.
