Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Faisal Sabzwari returned to Karachi on Saturday.

After arrival Faisal Sabzwari visited the temporary headquarters of the party upon his return, where he was welcomed by Farooq Sattar and others.

Speaking to media, he claimed the MQM became victim of violence and rigging in Karachi by-election on September 8.

He said that the operation against crimes should continue in Karachi. Speaking on the occasion, MQM leader Dr Farooq Sattar said Sabzwari had left the country with party’s approval.

On September 8, speaking at Geo News talk-show Aaj Shahzeb Khanzada kay Sath  Faisal Sabzwari had said he had chose to go abroad owing to security reasons. He said reliable sources had informed him and Khawaja Izhar that their lives were in danger.

“I had been told directly that there was danger to my life hence I had left the country,” he said. Responding a question regarding the August 22 speech of MQM founder, Sabzwari said that the Altaf Hussain’s statements disappointed him.
