Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain has deferred his decision over the resignations of MNAs / MPAs from the assemblies.
Altaf Hussain postponed the decision after a call from the Chief Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam (JUI-F), Maulana Fazlur Rehman.
JUI-F chief requested Altaf Hussain to withdraw his decision during a telephonic conversation.
Altaf has also assured the JUI Chief that the lawmakers of his party will attend the joint session of the parliament that will resume in Islamabad on Monday.
MQM lawmakers had submitted their resignations on Wednesday to the party after Altaf Hussain’s instructions.
