The wife of the Vietnamese ambassador, who had been missing for four hours, has been safely located and returned to her home.
According to Islamabad Police, she was found at the F-9 Park sports club, where she had gone to swim and bowl at the Mega Zone.
SSP Investigation of Islamabad Police, Hassan Jahangir Wattoo, shared that she had left her home earlier in the day after a personal disagreement with her husband. Feeling restless and upset, she left without informing anyone of her destination. Initially, it was reported that she intended to visit a beauty parlour in F-8 One, but there had been no contact with her since her departure.
The search operation was expedited following the involvement of Mohsin Naqvi, the Minister of Interior, who reached out to the IG of Islamabad Police upon learning of the disappearance. The Chief Minister directed the police to utilize modern technology to ensure a swift and effective search.
Senior police officials, including the DIG Operations and SP City, were quickly mobilized, and three teams were formed to locate her. The concerted efforts of these teams led to her discovery at F-9 Park, concluding the hours of anxious search.
