The Metro Bus service in Rawalpindi and Islamabad has been partially suspended, impacting commuters travelling between key stations.
Due to ongoing track maintenance, the suspension affects the route from Saddar Station to Faizabad. However, services remain fully operational from IJP Road to the Pak Secretariat.
Metro Bus authorities have confirmed that the suspension is temporary and necessary for track maintenance. Repair work is underway, and officials have assured commuters that the service will be restored as soon as possible.
This isn’t the first instance of disruptions in the Rawalpindi segment of the Metro Bus. The route connecting Saddar and Faizabad was temporarily closed for maintenance from November 28 to December 1.
