Victoria Kjaer Theilvig from Denmark claimed the title of Miss Universe 2024, marking her as the first Danish woman to win this esteemed crown at the 73rd edition of the Miss Universe pageant held at the Mexico City Arena.
Victoria’s journey to the crown began at an early age. Enthralled by international beauty contests since she was five, she entered her first pageant, Miss Denmark, at 17 and finished as the second runner-up. Her persistence led her to the Miss Grand International in 2022, where she was a Top 20 finalist. In September 2024, two months before the global contest, she won the title of Miss Universe Denmark.
With a bachelor’s degree in business and marketing, Victoria is also an entrepreneur in diamond sales. She aspires to further her education with a law degree, aiming for Harvard University. Beyond academics, she is a former professional dancer who has competed in European and World Championships and now teaches dance.
Victoria’s triumphs extend into her advocacy work, particularly for mental health awareness. She draws from her own experiences of overcoming abuse and familial challenges. She also dedicates time to volunteering at her local animal shelter and is a devoted pet owner.
