Pakistani VJ-turned-model-turned-TV actress Mawra Hocane, who is known for her roles in popular dramas such as Ahista Ahista and Main Bushra among others, is in Mumbai these days and it seems we will soon be seeing her in a Bollywood film.
The pretty actress has been posting photos on her Instagram account during her stay in India, keeping her fans updated not just about her whereabouts but also dropping hints about the purpose of her visit. However, she took her followers by surprise when she posted a video of Ranbir Kapoor praising her and hoping to meet her soon.
“Hi Mawra, this is Ranbir, here, you are extremely beautiful, extremely talented and I hope to see you sometime soon,” Ranbir is seen saying in the video before he blows a flying kiss to end his message.
A few weeks prior to Mawra’s trip to Mumbai, a Pakistani magazine had reported that she would go to India to read a few scripts before possibly signing a Bollywood film. Her sister Urwa has already made a film debut with the blockbuster Na Maloom Afraad which was released last year.
Well now that Ranbir Kapoor himself has shown keen interest to “see” Mawra, we think it’s possible we might see the two coming together on the big screen.
