Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) legislative Assembly and council members have elected Muhammad Masood Khan of Pakistan Muslim League (N) as the new President of Azad Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday.
Khan secured 42 votes while Chaudhry Lateef Akbar of Pakistan People’s Party got six votes.
The Muslim Conference and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) had boycotted the voting.
