On Monday, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz visited Beijing, focusing on the province’s agricultural innovation, environmental conservation, and healthcare development.
During the trip, AI Force Tech, a top Chinese firm, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Punjab Agriculture Department. This agreement will establish a facility in Punjab to produce robotic farming equipment, enhancing support for farmers and modernizing agriculture.

Chief Minister Nawaz met with AI Force Tech’s founder, Dr. Han, and its CEO to discuss Punjab’s agricultural reforms. She reviewed advanced robotic tools and confirmed full government support for the new facility.
Chief Minister Nawaz also visited the Blue Tech Clean Air Alliance, where she discussed air pollution solutions and climate action with Chairman Zi Hongsheng. The Chinese representatives praised her government’s pollution reduction initiatives.
An MoU was signed with the Blue Tech Clean Air Alliance to work on environmental projects in Punjab. Additionally, Nawaz met Dr. Liu Fuliang of Hygea Medical Technologies to discuss innovative cancer treatments, including non-invasive methods that have been successful in China.
She plans to introduce these cancer treatments at Nawaz Sharif Cancer Hospital, offering patients non-surgical treatment options.
“The Hygea treatment method revolutionizes cancer care, significantly increasing recovery rates and reducing discomfort,” she noted, highlighting its success in China.
Her Beijing initiatives reflect significant advancements in Punjab’s agriculture, environment, and healthcare, underscoring her dedication to the province’s development.
On Anti-Corruption Day, Chief Minister Nawaz emphasized the need to eradicate corruption to foster national growth. She stated, “Corruption signifies moral decay and hampers national development.”
