Naik Muhammad Imtiaz, who embraced martyrdom due to firing of Indian forces at the Line of Control (LoC) last night, was laid to rest, here late Thursday night.
Muhammad Imtiaz, a resident of Hajvairi Town Faisalabad, had joined Pak Army about 14 years ago and was promoted to the rank of Naik.
He was performing his duties at the Line of Control (LoC) where he embraced martyrdom due to firing of Indian forces last night.
His body was brought to Faisalabad where his Namaz-e-Janaza was offered at the ground of Government Islamia College Sargodha Road.

Mufti Muhammad Rizwan of Jamia Qadriyya led the funeral prayers in which MPA Tahir Jameel, MPA Khalid Saeed, DG Rangers Umar Farooq Barki, officers of army and police and local notables participated.
After funeral prayers, Naik Muhammad Imtiaz’s body was laid to rest in Amartsarian graveyard.
He was youngest one among his eight brothers and sisters. He has left three daughters and one widow behind him.(APP)
