West Indian cricketer and Peshawar Zalmi player Marlon Samuels applaud Pakistan Army and chief of Army Staff Qamar Javed Bajwa for security arrangements for the Pakistan Super League final in Lahore.
In a video message shared by the Peshawar Zalmi’s owner, Javed Afridi, Samuel said “Security was top class, you couldn’t ask for better security system. [I]Thank army for the way they dealt with things. General, I wouldn’t mind coming back to Pakistan if I am gonna get a metallic badge on my shoulder because I am a general in Jamaica that’s why I wore my army suit in Pakistan . Whenever you are ready to let me be part of the Pakistan army, I am ready because I am soldier in Jamaica and I want to be part of Pakistan army. Thank you again and I salute you”.

The West Indian player said he had lovely sleep in Lahore and cricket should definitely come back to Pakistan. And I will continue to promote this until I die.
“I spend a lot of time in Jamaica with Pakistanis. They’re all my friends. So I’m Pakistani in my heart. It didn’t take much for me to decide to come to Pakistan.
“For me it’s more than just me coming to Pakistan and playing game of cricket.”
He was also all praise for Zalmi owner Javed Afridi and said: You couldn’t ask for a better host coming to Dubai and then coming to Pakistan”.
