Marble exports during the first half (July-Dec) of this fiscal year plunged by 24.73 per cent to $28 million as compared to $37.2m in the same period last year.
All Pakistan Marble Mining Processing Industry and Exporters Association Chairman Sanaullah Khan attributed the decline to slower demand for semi-finished marble from China. The finished marble produicts exports remained the same.
