New York: Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations Maliha Lodha has written a letter to the Security Council, drawing its attention towards the Indian aggression.
She called on the United Nations to play its role in ending the Indian aggression that has killed 20 Pakistani citizens and injured 100 others in cross border shelling and firing.
Maliha Lodhi says UN Observer Group for Pakistan and India should hold a probe into the matter especially in which civilian Pakistanis were killed in Indian shelling.
She said violation of ceasefire agreement increased in August during which 20 people were killed and more than 100 injured in unprovoked firing .
She demanded of the members of the UN to take notice of Indian aggression.
