Late Monday night, unidentified armed men launched a bold Makran Coastal Highway attack, blocking the N-10 between Pasni and Ormara in Gwadar district, halted traffic, seized vehicles, and set seven ablaze, including six gas tankers and a Highway Police vehicle, authorities confirmed.
A large group barricaded the Makola stretch, inspecting passing vehicles. They targeted empty LPG tankers returning to Iran from Karachi, torching three completely and damaging three others after shooting out their tires. “Seven vehicles burned, including six gas tankers,” SSP Highway Police Hafeez Baloch reported. The gunmen then stormed a police checkpoint, snatching weapons and disarming officers during a three-hour rampage.
