The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) reported on Friday evening that operations by security forces in the districts of Tank and North Waziristan had dealt a considerable setback to terrorist activities, resulting in the deaths of six individuals affiliated with terror groups.
As per the military’s media division, an altercation involving gunfire erupted between Pakistani troops and the terrorists in the Manzai area of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Tank district.
Security forces effectively retaliated against the terrorists, leading to the deaths of three individuals. The forces also recovered a substantial cache of weapons and ammunition from the killed terrorists.
In a particular skirmish in the province’s Razmak region of North Waziristan district, security forces successfully neutralized three more terrorists in an intense exchange of fire.
According to ISPR, the eliminated terrorists had been actively orchestrating terror attacks against security forces and were accountable for killing innocent civilians.
The ISPR stated that the area is currently undergoing a thorough sweep to ensure the eradication of any residual terrorists.
