During his visit to Turkey for President Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s swearing-in ceremony, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif urged Turkish investors and businesses to broaden their investment portfolio in Pakistan.
A meeting representatives from several Turkish corporations such as Anadolu Group, Arcelik, Zorlu, Albayrak, Limak, Dolsar, Turkish Contractors Association, and Pak Yetirim, he advocated for strategic collaboration in sectors including energy, agriculture, IT, and construction.
He also discussed specific investment plans and joint ventures. These meetings aim to enhance economic cooperation between Pakistan and Turkey. PM Sharif’s team, including Minister for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb, Special Assistant Tariq Fatimi, and Pakistan’s Ambassador to Turkey, Dr. Yousuf Junaid, was present during these meetings.
