A bench of the Lahore High Court (LHC) earlier today observed that it had not issued orders of suspension of the license of ARY News.
According to ARY News, Justice Mazahir Ali Akbar Naqvi during the hearing observed that the court had not issued orders for suspension of the license of ARY News adding that Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) had misinterpreted the orders of the court.
CEO of ARY News Salman Iqbal and Anchorperson Mubashir Lucman appeared before the court during the hearing of the case today.
PEMRA on Monday decided to suspend the license of ARY News for 15 days citing an order of LHC in a case.
