Leonardo DiCaprio and Martin Scorsese are set to collaborate once again, continuing one of modern cinema’s most successful actor-director partnerships.
The pair has delivered several acclaimed films together, including The Wolf of Wall Street, Gangs of New York, and Shutter Island. Their most recent project, Killers of the Flower Moon (2023), received widespread praise and secured ten Academy Award nominations, further cementing their creative legacy.
Their upcoming film, What Happens at Night, is scheduled to begin production in February 2026, according to Collider. The project was first announced in September, with Jennifer Lawrence cast opposite DiCaprio in a leading role.

After checking into an almost deserted hotel, the couple encounters a series of unsettling characters, including a flamboyant chanteuse, a morally corrupt businessman, and a faith healer. As complications arise around the adoption, the couple begins to question their relationship, identity, and the life they have built together.
Casting details beyond the lead roles are confidential, and the studio has not announced an official release date. Industry expectations suggest the film could reach audiences in 2027 or 2028. With DiCaprio and Scorsese reuniting once more, What Happens at Night is already shaping up to be one of the most anticipated prestige films of the coming years
